Re: [compost_tea] OT Fest 2003

Hi wpb - Yes - many discussions of soil chemistry.  It started to be related to TEA.  It became involved but I think soil microbiology and soil chemistry is related and infinitly complex.  I tend to assume the great diversity of compost and TEA will, with the other resilience in nature, I will get by.

As for building tea machines with tig welding that has got to be the hard way to get there.  Turn you amps down. Your wire speed is too high.   Go for PVC or come to us for one ready to percolate, 3 to 3,000 gallon capacity, $3 to $7 /g capacity, Equal test numbers with the most expensive  No fork lift required.   Bob  ( of Bobs Brewers)

PVC will only last 10 seasons.  In 5 seasons the technology will so improve whatever you have today will want to change before is wears out.

and here I was hoping that someone would tell me why when I use
Lincoln's Outershield Elite (E71T-9) in .045 diameter on my Migmatic
200, even though max amperage is 250 @ 28volts, AND, using a 75/25
shielding gas, I still get wormholes? go figure. Now admittingly the
amperage is on the low side, but I compensate with a 300 deg. F.
preheat. And yes , stickout is 1 inch and wire feed speed is 400 fpm.
Should I just break down and by an inverter?
