Re: [compost_tea] Thank you Bob Norsen

Thanks, Judi,  the pleasure was mutual.  Your group is inspiring.  There is talent among them I need, hope to aquire grafting know how. Judi I forgot to leave the scoop and instructions with the package we loaded in your truck in the cold and dark.  I will ship those with Eric's order, FedEx.

When apple squeezin time comes the apple pulp with wood chips should be a good start for TEA BASE compost. The research your group does to relate TEA to the mitigation of apple problems will help many on the CT List. I encourage the group or members to join the ICTC.  I will ask the ICTC board if your Tree Fruit Group can join as a group.   More on that subject later.  Again it was a pleasure.  Eloquent?  I don't think so !   Bob

I'd like the list members to know that last evening Bob Norsen came to
the meeting of our fruit club.  He spoke eloquently about the virtues of
compost tea and he donated his 250-gallon CT brewer to the club in
memory of Jerry Pate, our club's co-founder.  In turn, Jerry's widow
Maxine, has turned Jerry's orchard and cider press over to the club,
where we'll use the orchard as a teaching tool. As soon as we get the
brewer set up, we'll be soil drenching and spraying the orchard with
compost tea.

Bob, you're presentation was excellent. On behalf of the members of the
North Olympic Fruit Club, thank you for your kindness and generosity.
