Re: [compost_tea] CT Strawberries? Poison anybody

Jeff did you get to the VERY END - see my message - where YOU can make a statement.  Maybe there are other places where public comment is possible.  It was a dam dreary report.  All the reasons to use chemical poisons are in the $ and it ain't for the farmers $ or yours or mine.  Can only benefit the chemical peddlers and the medical thieves.  Sorry about the  medical statement.  But they ortta be out in front with a club beating off this poisoning of the populus.

bin Ladin & Saddam ain't our problem. The enemy is US.

Does anyone on the list use CT for strawberries?

My understanding is that in 2005 methyl bromide, currently used on strawberry fields to control nematodes (?)  will be banned and that there were early experiments to use CT to restore soil health in lieu of methyl bromide.

Thanks for a response.

Cheers,

Jeff
