Are you from there or know anyone in TEA who is in that region? Bob

Whoa, CT researchers have a good project in front

Florida.
"Due to high disease pressure from Botrytis fruit
rot and other diseases in Florida, disease
management has been heavily reliant on fungicides.
Growers in Florida can apply captan, a protectant
fungicide, up to 24 times (2.3 to 3.4 kg a.i./ha)
during the season. Botrytis fruit rot can still
cause severe losses on highly susceptible cultivars."

Again, a reminder there are vast differences
in the Humid East and the Arid West when it
comes to organic fruit production, largely due
to climate-related pest and *disease* pressure.&
