Jeff, I take it to mean that there was only one strand in the ml or 
so of tea analyzed.  I expect the "SC beard" survived but most or 
all was attacked by anerobic bacteria due to low oxygen at some 
point in the brewing process.

It is my understanding that I want fungal dominated tea for a soil 
drench on my grapes.  Is that correct Elaine?
