Would it work? put a loose fitting ( leave room for air ) iron rod in the soaker hose, bend the rod to shape and let it sink the hose . Bob.

Can you tell us how you secured the soaker hose to the bottom of the 55
gallon drum? I have tried this system, but always have trouble with
getting the soaker hose to stay on the bottom. FYI - No SFI test
results yet.

soaker hose is in the bottom of the drum."

---Mike, ( no pointing fingers) I'm going to try this method cause I
have most of the materials and equipment. Did you find significant
drawbacks to this method? Dennis
