Re: [compost_tea] Re: Air Required was: Air pump selection & 5 gal brewer

Can we keep this thread going........I'm thoroughly confused about oxygenat=
ion now!

What with shear, simple aquarium air pumps vs. $500+ 1/3 HP blowers, and bi=
g bubbles vs. small bubbles, and shallow tanks vs. deep ones.......arrgggh.=
What do I need? Does anyone have any definitive answers that will stand up=
to scrutiny or are these opinions? (bearing also in mind that air = 21% =
oxygen, 70+% nitrogen......)

# I'm forever blowing bubbles, pretty bubbles in the air.............# =

There are different kinds of diffusers. www.aquaticeco.com has a
good selection. From coarse to ultra-fine bubble size. I got the
medium bubble stones for my home made brewer.
