Whoa there good Dr.
No one is attacking you. I'm just merely pointing out that other
Alaskans are successful and not only compete but have beaten the best
by using other means. Maybe soley was to strong of a word but you did
strongly suggest that CT made from Alaska Humus and Alaska Humus was
responsible, according to Jose. Attaching Alaska to the word humus is
another great marketing tool. What is Alaska Humus? Great humus
exisits world wide. You asked for other people growing giant
vegetables to reply. I have and I'm downgraded because I offer first
hand knowledge about others growing record breaking giant vegetables
and perhaps because I like to look at the overall picture?
John is a very skillfull gardener and that is why not to many people
can compete with him. The same native soil scenerio you suggest is not
true. Mat Valley soils for the most part are glacially benign. No 2
garden soils are created exactly alike. Those with the most skills
will have the better garden. Not any one or two products out there are
the complete answer. That is the point I was trying to make just in
case you missed it. The more tools we have in the tool box the more
things we can fix. Take care, hi_yield.
PS: Our near 24 hours of summer sun is a VERY VERY BIG REASON for the
record sized veggies we can grow!!
