ELAINE INGHAM AND DAVID LORING: On the question of oxygen and fungi tradeoff
with bubbles, thanks to Elaine for clarifying the
oxygen/nitrogen/depth/bubbles questions. I can now incorporate that
information into the best practices document I'm working on in the section
on aeration and oxygen meters. Thank you, David Loring, for a kind and
generous understanding of what is going on in raising these questions and
for seeing the value of clarification.

ALL: The best practices document draft is about 75 pages long (not all full
pages) and --for the purpose of info collecting -- is set up as a master
plus subdocuments so that I can easily drop info into a particular topic
without scrolling through the whole document. Getting it this far has been
a very big effort. If you're one of the people who is frustrated at seeing
information more than once on this list -- or if you remember what it was
like to be a beginner and want to help others -- please do consider that it
would be a constructive response to think about helping in some way, -- such
as by reading and collecting posts from the archives that can be added to
this document, or fact checking a section of the document on a topic you
know well.

It will then be possible to refer people to summarized information in the
files on the website, instead of answering the question again and again or
reading it again and again. By the way, you can expect me like clockwork to
ask dumb questions and attempt to summarize and clarify information (I've
only been learning about this stuff since July and there is much I don't
know) and if any of you can bring yourself to answer them, be assured that
the answers will go into the BP document so that others can benefit from
them.
