It sounds like you folks are new to Alaska, WELCOME. So next growing
season try the grow lights, Miracle grow and CT. If your cabbage comes
within 40 pounds of the wining cabbage at the giant cabbage weigh off
I will be very very surprised. The cabbage variety Gene Dinkel has
used for years is probably the best kept secret in Alaska!! So are
John Evans world record varieties. That is just part of the
competition. Like the old W.C. Fields saying goes, never wise up a
chump or give a sucker an even break!! Good Luck and take care.
