'<<<What kinds of sprayers are being used to put teas on turf? Hand-held p=
ressure sprayers? Back-pack sprayers?>>>
All of the above,, plus siphon from 20 feet, sump pumped all the way up to =
professional systems.
What modification are made to prevent clog up and that the pressures don't =
get too high?
What are the limits here?
At home, the best bet for a small lawn is a concrete sprayer with a special=
nozzle whose number I cannot remember and snow prevents me from getting! (=
Rittenhouse carries it and Wendy at Rittenhouse knows the number---anyone h=
ave the spray nozzle number handy?).
The hand systems don't create enough pressure in tank to harm the microbes.=
It is the splat when they come out of the spray nozzle that hurts them. So=
, making the spray "drift" is better than letting it splat on the ground or=
leaves.
The limit is lawn size. The first year I applied every week or so. I didn't=
come upon the concrete sprayer and nozzle until late year two.
Cheers,
Jeff
