Eric -- We had a good thread here on air volumes going for a while and I
learned a lot but I don't think there's a last word on the subject (or if
there ever may be:). Based on scatter-gathered info and some experience,
I'd
suggest if you want just enough to bubble 55gals you'll need ~.75cfm _at_
2psi. If you want some roil 2-3cfm, more psi. If you want a big roil
6-8cfm, at least 5psi. If your pump source doesn't have cfm and psi info
handy
you should find another one. www.aquaticeco.com and www.aquacave.com had
good linear pumps and info last I checked. Others have more new info or
