Chris, I agree with you regarding the Hay.....you can always add protozoa a=
fter you make the tea or as a separate spray/drench. To start, I want the =
fertilizer "bags" (bacteria and fungi) in my tea. I can always add the fe=
rtilizer "spreader" (nematodes and protozoa) later.

Activation of the humus/compost used in tea was a process developed for two=
 purposes: First to confirm that there was adequate fungi in the compost/hu=
mus used and second to grow the fungi from spores so that you would have ac=
tive, ready to go hyphae in the tea you apply. Why settle for spores when y=
ou can have actively growing fungi? If you have good organics in your soil=
, the fungi continue to grow. This would seem to be much better than apply =
tea and having to wait for the spores to develop into fungal hyphae. Remem=
ber, there is no certainty your spores will germinate!
