Hi Jimmy Hope you are into alternative medical now so your heart will be safe. Dr Johnathan Wright would never forgive himself if a client of his needed surgery. He is great. Look for Health and Healing on the web. I think that will get stuff that will keep you healthy. Excuse me, Jim I'm so sold on alternative I can't not say something.
ABOUT YOUR WORM CASTINGS - I would dump them out of the 50 g drums into a pile about 12" deep, cover the pile with stuff like alfalfa , kelp, humic acid, molases - not too much of any of this, only an inch to 2 inches deep. Add some looseing stuff like hay or wood chips, mixe together and aerate well and often for a month or more. It may get warm. Notice if the castings smell like fresh dug earth as you empty the drums. If they do ( I will be surprixed ) they may be ok as is.
If they stink they have gone anaerobic. anaerobic would of course be negative. Anaerobic can be recovered by the aeration and feeding I mentioned above. There may be many earth worms and or eggs in the castings. If the worms are active and in good condition that is a good sign.
Listen to others. I am not the last workd on this situation. Bob
