Elaine and list,
Some of us have pear blister mites. Once the mites are in the leaves,
they are virtually untouchable. We were told to use the miticide of our
choice and to repeat as often as the label allows and do this when the
buds begin to swell in the spring until we can see the cracks of green
beginning to show.
Starting late February or early March, depending on the weather, most of
us spray horticultural oil, straight, or add to it sulphur or lime
sulphur. Some use neem oil.
Temperature got up to 50 degrees F. today but it'll soon be in the 30's.
What would you suggest?
Thank you,
Judi
