Well said. My goal is to grow the best food the "best" way I figure
out. Signing on last fall, I have read many constructive posts. There
have been a lot of contributions, but I have learned the most when
questions are asked. Ted's and Dr. Ingham's posts have proven to be the
Most useful to developing a fair understanding of tea and its uses, as
well as a better understanding of my business. Folks like Ted and Dr.
Ingham are the anchors to what might otherwise be a directionless or
disorganized thread. It is more than their curiosity that keeps them
reading and writing compost_tea mail, it is their generosity and
commitment.
I have been disappointed with too much argument and not enough
conversation, and I feel this has contributed to Ted's departure. We
should be energizing each other, inspiring each other.

Subject: Re: [compost_tea] Departure by Ted Peterson
I had expected the Ted's notice he was leaving the list would have
brought a flood of messages thanking him for his contributions and
asking him to stay. Perhaps there have been private message to him, but
if there has been anything on this list other than a polite "Yeah, well,
see you again Ted. Been nice knowing you." then I must have missed
them.
I am not as knowledgeable as many of you, but I appreciated the posts
made by Ted. His posts showed the extent that he has been testing
compost tea in the field, far more so that the great majority of us. He
was prepared to step out of the box and explore new ideas and new
procedures. And the detail he was prepared to share with us, was, in
my opinion, exceedingly generous.
Ted, I hope you see this. The list was better for your presence and
involvement. It will be the poorer for your absence. I hope you will
reconsider and stay with us.

I wish everybody on this list success in brewing tea and making and
selling brewers. I am compiling some things for people who I have made
promises to and I am behind in doing that. So if you are still
interested in getting the information, please contact me off list. I
will send it to you if you are interested.I have not forgotten but
business pressures and writing to this list are in conflict. Besides,
it appears that the mindset of this list is incompatible with the
direction I am taking. So happy brewing.
