We tried to get control of scab with compost tea, and were not successful. =
Brian Caldwell, of nearby New York State, also tried compost tea without po=
sitive results.

Michael Glenn, of Surround TM fame, tried compost tea and Surround together=
against scab. He had one set of good results but could not replicate them =
subsequently.

If anyone on this list has what they believe is a reliable method for gener=
ating and applying compost tea to control apple scab, I would like to hear =
the details.

Thanks in advance,

Frank Teuton

Jeff is it improbable that ACT foliar and soil drench under the trees cou=
ld NOT manage scab? ACT as a soil drench under trees is a suggested mode=
of use is it not? What is unscientific about observing results? Yeah. Ob=
serving same results many times. Bob.

soil after leaf drop as the fungus overwinters there. I sure hope no one i=
