I think you need to give them a break.
The odds are, that even if the organisation recommended these things in
the past, that the *people* that are in the organisation now are not
necessarily the same.
And even if they are, isn't the whole point of the organic movement to
convert people to healthier practices? Shouldn't one of the major goals
be to convert influential scientific organisations?
When someone has begun to see the light, should we not give them the
benefit of the doubt, and encourage them to continue? Instead of saying
"you were wrong once, so your opinion is not valuable".
Actually, my understanding of what a pathologist is would be that they
identify disease, they do no prescribe a cure. They may study the effect
of the "cure" on a disease, but they certainly are not the ones that you
go to for your whole health care.
I suspect that they would be vary good allies to have.
