RE: [compost_tea] Lime in compost
Should the compost with calcium (lime) be turned, and if so, how often?
How much time does the calcium need to remain in the compost before
spreading?
Thanks,
Judi
You are forgiven Elaine for writing to us all late at night! The point
you make, however, that you can add items to your compost and use less
than if you add directly to your plants and it is a good one. Lime, in
particular, is very hard to really get into the soil system. The compost
method you point out works so much better no matter what the numbers.
Cheers and get some sleep!_at_
