Dear List members,

The compost tea movement is in a growth stage. However any  movement
that spends it's limited resources internalizing has less energy for
externalizing or as in our case, projecting a very important  message.
The "divide and conquer" strategy has been successfully used by
oppressors for thousands of years as a control mechanism.  I suggest we
continue to build on the positive, constructive sustainable practices
that project from this list serve and not fall into the trap of
expressing our destructive human emotions.

I for one would like to rekindle discussion on food feeding rates. It
has been a while since the first "Compost Tea Manual" appeared with the
recipes for fungal/bacterial teas.  I use a 50 gallon drum system with a
modified bobolator and add  a third of  food recipe at start up, about
four hours later and the final third with the addition of aloe, tuna and
mychorrizal fungi about an hour before applying.  I sense that adding
all the recipe at the beggining could have adverse effects on the
microorganisms. What is other practioner experience?
