Ted -

Glad to see you back in the discussion.

Again, you have a lot to offer in terms
of practical application so keep on talking.

Agri-Energy Resources Lab has a gas chromatograph
that is used to identify strains of beneficial
microorganisms in soil samples taken from fields
growing exceptional crops.

These strains are isolated and then cultured in
fermentation vats.  These are later added to compost
teas during or after the brewing cycle.

Edwin Blosser at Midwest Bio-Systems used these
liquid biologicals in combination with humified compost
to help methyl bromide using vegetable farmers in
Georgia shift out of NPK-Methyl Bromide Agriculture
into Soilfoodweb Agriculture.

It is an example of a sophisticated approach to
compost teas underway in the eco-farming industry.

Think about that as you go further into your
research and discovery.

Based on the numbers of organisms estimated to
exist in the molecular papers, I guess that we
won't run out of species to learn about and conduct
research with.

Compost teas are basically a whole systems approach.
You aim for Abundance and Diversity of beneficial
organisms; i.e., Enumeration and Diversity.

If you start to identify, isolate, and culture specialized
organisms to bioaugment compost teas -- which is itself
a bioaugmentative technique -- you have a new set of tools.
