Anthony - If the liquid is sprayed gently into a stream of air that lofts the mist to the plants - that seems to me a much more "humane" treatment than to shoot it at high pressure in an airless system. Just a mental picture of the action. Have you or anyone made leave assays? Better cover? Higher survival ? Finer misting with less impact at any point during application.
Now ad the electirical static charge to get best cover with best attachment. Like the birds on a power wire. Probably the static electrical distribution would not be felt by the bugs. *Imagine a droplet as a small bus load of microbes delivered by electrical attraction to each part of a leaf, stem, fruit surface with preference to surfaces that have not been landed on by prior droplets. Some paint equipment company has this ready to go to work. Anybody? Bob.

I know we have discussed this topic of spray pressure and coverage before, but as it is probably the most important factor after having a good compost, I thought it should be glossed over again.
air-shear machines pump relatively low volume, low pressure with high velocity air thru a centrifugal fan. It is a common unit for fungicide applications. I am concerned to the effect of such high air speeds on the organisms.
Any feedback would be good
