[compost_tea] Biti chamber removal
Hello all,
I have a Biti-bob-o, and recently emailed with Bob about chamber removal. I tend to start brews in the afternoon, and have been under the impression the chamber stays in the bucket for 10-12 hours, then is removed for and the brew runs another 10-12 hours. This means I get up at 2, take it out, and clean it.
Bob suggested that 4-6 hours extraction may be as good as 10-12 (and that leaving it in 20-24 may hang up fungi and reduce circulation in the bottom of the bucket).
Is there any data to support a shorter chamber/extraction-longer growth/brew time being as good or better for Bob's brewers? SFI numbers or microscopy? Anecdotal?
