In tanks of 200+ g two pumps and both aeration systems were cootinued in the cycle after pulling the chamber. Some recent test Kevin has run used even shorter time in extraction mode. From Kevins report the extractio was effective in a very short time. This short extraction period may be effective in other brewers too. Bob

Jeff, this is good news and very important information. I’m glad you’re

able to share this. It opens the door to cleaning and setting up

the chamber faster for the next brew.

Two more questions:

1) after the chamber was removed how long was the aeration continued

and

2) one pump for the chamber and one for the tank?

Thanks,

Judi

Judi, they are making 100 gallons at a time. The second pump is the same size as the original bob o pump. The Chamber stays in 8 hours. Of course, the only way to tell what is going on is to test. They did and found both the extra air and the removal of the chamber helped considerably with fungal.

Cheers,

Jeff
