Re: [compost_tea] Work by Allision Hornor
Allison Hornor works with SFI, and some of her testing involves SFI methods.
The most interesting part of her work is the rapid molecular identification
tests for microorganism, especially for E. coli. Allison is a graduate student
with Dr. Janice Thies, at Cornell.
Allision recently attended the compost conference in Leon, Spain. Her OFRF
talk will probably be focused on her research methods into molecular
identification methods. Should be quite interesting! Hope to see even more data at
that talk on hyman pathogen survival in compost and compost tea.
