Water? was Re: [compost_tea] humus/fulvic acid?
<<<My point is that de-chlorinated tap water or well water is not
necessarily the best for culturing microbes.>>
Hold on a minute.
TJ_Lets not hold on, this IS a complicated subject and this list is
now carrying on with some important aspects!!!
If you have good compost, a good machine and the
right nutrient mix you will end up with great microbial numbers using
de-chlorinated tap water. You can super charge water up, magnetize it
etc, but the point is if you can getr good microbial numbers without
these extra's why bother to add them?
TJ_Many are getting BETTER results by learning to understand the
value of the products used. This discussion and discussions like it
NEED to continue
I think some of you are making this way, way to complicated. All you
need is a good machine, de-chlorinatet tap water and good compost and
nutrients.
TJ_ Maybe it IS to complicated for Tommy homeowner, but certainly not
to complicated for the dozens, if not hundreds of professionals
viewing this board. Biodynamic, radionic and other concepts outside
of the traditional fertilization and disease control paradigm are
important parts as well.
So, don't get carried away folks. It isn't that complicated.
Cheers,
TJ_Please lets continue to get, what you describe as, carried away.
Just because something works well doesn't mean we can't do better. I
continue to do LOTS of things outside of the loop. I also continue to
look for solid science backing up the results I see.
