[compost_tea] Review of seminar

Since there has been a person on this list serve trying to convince every
one that Arden and I are on the outs, here is evidence that in fact Arden and I
continue to support each other's work.

My seminars change a bit after each time I talk to Arden, because he always
has something new to add to the knowledge base, and the reverse is true too.
Arden adds more soil foodweb information after each time we talk.

As everyone who has listened to my talks in the last two years knows, I
integrate a great deal of chemistry into the biological data I talk about. I try
to make the chemical work painless to understand, and feedback from the
seminars I teach indicate that I'm pretty successful at that.

So, when someone begins to say that Arden and I don't work together, or that
we hate each other, or something incredibly inaccurate like that, just put
that person in the category of "wants to try to capture attention for
themselves by saying outrageous things."

Now, do I absolutely agree with everything Arden says? Please, no one
agrees absolutely with all aspect of what anyone else says. But points of
discussion don't mean that we are scratching each other's eyes out. Geez!

I really love to hear about seminars where the sustainable or biological
approach is discussed. If others were at meetings like this, please share your
experience!,

An excerpt from comments by an attendee at the EPM meeting in Yakima:

Also, I attended the EPM sponsored training by Dr. Arden Andersen in Yakima
a few weeks ago, in which he thoroughly endorsed Elaine's work and encouraged
every one to get a sound working knowledge from her whenever possible, (my
paraphrase). There were about 80 farmers there in early stages of switching
part of their operations away from conventional chemical mindset and methods,
to something more sustainable.
