I haven't tried Worms Way but I have used both finished castings and
bed material from the UC Berkeley Worm Composting Coop with very good
results.  I have since become so enamored that I started raising my
own compost worms, expanded into 2 species of burrowing worms and
have begun manipulating the organisms within the beds.  Obiviously, I
gone a little over the top but you will find that compost fresh from
the bin brews up with significantly less lag time.  Using the
relatively low levels of compost that I use, brews from older
castings required 48 hours to reach stationary phase while brews from
fresh material require 12 hours.
