oleander contamination

A producer here in California has been working with marketing grass
clippings from golf courses, etc. to dairies. In one batch, they had what
they thought was a small amount of oleander mixed in (0.005-0.015% wet %
they think).
Oleander (Nerium oleander L., Apocynaceae) is a common ornamental here, and
one reference says: "very toxic. 1 leaf a potentially lethal dose, death
within 24 hours; rat poison"

Does anyone have knowledge of the effects of oleandrin glycoside on
ruminants? Is this person in trouble with this concentration?

Thanks for any leads (references, individuals) you can provide.

Sincerely;
Dan Putnam
