Alfalfa Symposium Program

To: National Forage Colleagues;

        The UC California Alfalfa Workgroup is pleased to invite you to the
1995 California Alfalfa Symposium (PROGRAM BELOW). This will be held in
Modesto, CA Dec. 7-8, 1995 (presymposium tour Dec 6). Deadlines are
November 17 for the presymposium tour and November 28 for preregistration
($45 including lunch and proceedings). Registration and Hotel information
are given below.
        This symposium includes a broad range of topics, from wildlife, to
forage quality, harvesting methods, pest control, and manure applications,
and commercial exhibits. Last year's attendance was about 400. This is the
25th or Silver Anniversary of the Symposium. The California Alfalfa
Symposium has a proud history as one of the premier sources of information
for irrigated alfalfa production in the West. We have many participants and
speakers from neigboring and more distant states, as well as other countries.

        Any assistance you can offer in passing this information on to
interested parties is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Dan Putnam
Extension Agronomist, UC Davis
