Re: New to permaculture

Hello there Lynn, It always makes me happy to hear and read those few
lines....."I'm starting". To me it's like planting a seed, it shows
hope in the future.

Anyway, regarding permaculture, there are many great books out there
covering this subject. My favourit ones are "Introduction to
Permaculture" and "Permaculture: A Designers' Manual" both by Bill
Mollison. Though you local library (why buy books when you can read
them for free) should carry a whole list a books that may be more
specific to your region.

Alternatively, dont limit yourself to books, lookup the phone book or in
a magazine directory for a local group that meets to teaches or descuss
permaculture, organic etc concepts and techniques. More can be gained
from people then books (though they make a good reference), besides its
more fun and thats mainly what permaculture is about. people, enjoyable
exsistance and belief in the future.

Happy life and love for worms
          Michael
