Ethanol is not the only motor fuel.  Various vegetable oils can be used 
as diesel fuel.

Besides, I note that you do not address the other examples.

You should be careful with such outlandishly exuberant optimism: it may
prove infectious.  But then, if all the doomsayers really believed what
they were preaching and acted accordingly, both the population pressure
and the quality of debate in this newsgroup would benefit.
