Well, perennial means the plant lives more than one or two seasons,
not that you can harvest fruit all year. Actually, it's not the fruits
of these perennials that we eat.

Artichokes (flower buds of a thistle-like plant)
Asparagus (still-furled spring stems of a fern-like plant)
Rhubarb - (leaf stalks) - if you count it as a veggie
