X400-Recipients: non-disclosure:;
How about some sort of device to attach on the rear of a combine harvester to
kill in some way all the weed seeds or lost crop grains that presently pass out
as part of the waste? Perhaps a focused laser or gamma particle emitter might
work (if it could be made safe!) or even some sort of small seed separator and
bagger.
Weeds and volunteer crops are major contraints on less intensive, sustainable
agriculture. If a combine could help clean up a field instead of spreading
weeds around in it that would be a big help.
