I am well aware of the problems with transportation of food to the needy 
also.  Look at staravation in Africa and Bosnia.  The countries could 
feed theirselves, except for greed, lack of cooperation, and politics.

BTW, I see that you are approving of the use of modern technology for 
food production.  I was postulating that past technology would be used, 
after all that is what the thread was about, the use of cattle instead of 
tractors.
