I've heard & read that pantyhose balls filled with dog or human hair works
for deer... just hang them on posts around the edge of the garden, and
replace them occasionally.
For groundhogs, you might want to find out if there are any plants which
are noxious to them, which could be planted as a kind of underground
fence.
But rabbits? they're tough to keep out.
Mind you, some people consider them food, too.
