Toadflax (Linaria Vulgaris) control non-chem?

I discovered a patch (2 acres) or Toadflax on our farm last fall. It's
in an alfalfa seed field, and Toadflax seed may have been spread by
the combine by the time I noticed it.

I want to keep it from spreading if possible, and I can't use
chemicals as our farm is certified organic.

My idea so far is to keep the patch black indefinately with a double
disc in the hope that the weed will eventually die. I will avoid
cultivators so I don't drag the roots around. This may lead to wind
erosion eventually, as we have sandy soil.

Any other strategies? Or information from someone who deals with this
weed regularly?

Will I be able to live with this weed if it becomes widespread on our
farm? Our alfalfa seed is sold for sprouting, so a few toadflax seeds
won't hurt anything unless they have a bad taste or prevent export of
the sprouting seed to certain countries.

Any suggestions appreciated.
