Seeking appropriate forum.

Friends,
I have been lurking on SANET for a few weeks now and find the various
posts interesting and useful, however most of the posts are academically or
policy oriented, rather than practical. What I would like to find is a forum
for
serious chat and interchange on day to day problems of sustainable,
low-input, and
organic growing. Exchanging experiences, sources, markets, techniques, etc.
Is SANET appropriate? Does anyone know of other lists that may be better
for this?
SHEEP-L is a lively, warm and friendly forum for sheep raisers and
extension
people, with 30-60 posts daily. I think the volume of posts daily may have
squeezed
out many of non-grower users. Nevertheless this is a valuable resource for
sheep
growers, and I would like to participate in a similar forum relating to
sustainable
agriculture.
At the moment my modem isn't functioning properly so my access to www
is limited, but I would appreciate your comments and suggestions relating to
SANET or
any relevant forum.

FYI, I operate a small grains farm and strawberry U-pick on 350 acres of
rented
land in the parkland region of eastern Alberta. My original goal was to be
certified
organic, but my operation has been backsliding away from this goal for several
years. I'm working on getting it back on track.

Many thanks
Jim Wright
