The International Conference on Ecological Engineering will be
held in Beijing, China, on October 7-11. Attached you will find the
electronic editon of second announcement. The purpose of
conference is mainly for technological and scientific exchange in
ecological engineering and education. It will emphasize recent
progress in sustainable agreculture and environment.

treatment of wastewater and wildlife reservation and the
Beijing Man ruins and museum. Participation Fee: US$ 20.
Tour B: The Greatwall, the Ming Tomb Exhibition, Summer
Palace.
Participation Fee: US$ 50.
5) Workshops and Roundtable Discussion
Time: on March 7, 10 after 16:00.
6) Closing Ceremony
A plenary review will be given by Wenhua Li (Commission for

1 Call for Papers
1) Materials to be Submitted: registration form and abstract
with request format.
2) Mailing to the secretariat of ICEE before May 31.
2 Paper Presentations
1) Oral Presentation: 25 minutes
Format of the abstract and paper is provided in the prited
announcement.
2) Poster Presentation
Poster size: 480 mm X 1180 mm. Please use print matter.
3) Vedeo Presentation
Equipments are available for vedeo presentation.
1 Registration Fees
General Registration: US$ 300, late US$ 340;
IEES Member: US$ 250, late US$ 290;
Student: US$ 150, late US$ 170;
Accomapy person: US$ 150, late US$ 170.
2 Hotel Accommodations
US$ 45/person/day for single room. US$ 30/person/day to
share a twin room.
Board fee is included in the accommodation fee. Participants
who wish to attend the welcome dinner party should add US$
10 more. Those who live in other places and do not pay
accommodation fee should pay US$ 75 for their board
expense during the 5-day conference.
