Job Announcement



The University of California is seeking a Staff Research Associate to act as
coordinator for the Biologically Integrated Vineyards Systems (BIVS) program
under the direction of the UC Viticulture Advisor in Fresno County. Will
organize meetings and field days, communicate with group members, compile
and distribute meeting minutes, and write grant proposals.  Also direct and
participate in pest and nutrition monitoring of BIVS acreage, input and
analyze data, and write reports.  Organizational, writing and supervisory
skills necessary, and ability to work under pressure in field and lab.
Requires education and/or experience in the applied biological sciences,
pest management, agricultural production and/or public policy, and evidence
of publications or successful grantsmanship.  Position for 9 mos.,
possibility of extension based on job performance and available funds.
Salary $2,467/mo., excellent benefits.  Request and send completed
