The Ark Sets Sail...
Hi, All,
Many of you have written over the past year asking if The Ark Institute
puts on any seminars around the country. I have always responded that I
plan to as soon as time permits. Well, I think the time is rapidly
approaching. The global food supply grows more precarious with each
passing year, the weather patterns grow more extreme, the complete
dependence of individuals, families and nations on increasingly complex
and highly vulnerable food production and distribution systems is
escalating at a frightening pace.
The gardens, here, will be finishing up soon. Food is being preserved
and research projects are concluding smoothly. I think it is time The
Ark sets sail -- to personally meet many of you in your communities, to
spread the word about the future of our food supplies, to share our
philosophy of preparedness with you and your neighbors, and to help
teach the technologies essential for food self-sufficiency.
If you think your group or community would be interested in a seminar
this Fall, Winter or early Spring, please drop me an email with some idea
of how you think Ark might fit in. I am shooting for a late
September/early October start date. If we can coordinate my trips to
cover several groups or communities in one state or region, all the
better. I am grateful for all of your kind words of support and
encouragement over these past two years and excited at the prospect of
meeting many of you, face-to-face, for the first time…Geri Guidetti
