composting boxboard

I saw a post from Eric Nash asking about composting boxboard along with food residuals,
and had to add my two cents. I work at a privately owned compost facility near Toronto,
ON. We did a test run of boxboard print scraps and overruns, and I have a few cautions
for Eric.
-many types of boxboard have a thin plastic film on them that Will Not Go Away.
-generally inks are not a problem (our test used vegetable based ink), but have samples
tested
-any metals (As,Cr etc) in feedstock will be present and available for uptake in the
finished product

Good luck. Feel free to e-mail me if you have questions.
