I think we can get rid of a lot of the fear that the non-scientific
community (after all they have to eat the stuff)have by labeling the gene
altered food stuff so folks that don't agree with it can avoided it. I feel
that the companies that are doing this DNA manipulation know where the seed
is going and they only sell to certain seed companies and those picked seed
companies only sell to picked farmers that have to keep track of what they
are doing and open their self up to seed company inspections for so many
years etc all know what is where. Every one knows where this lab made food
stuff is but the poor mice that have to consume it. The end of the circle
are the folks that do not get to know what they are eating everyone else
knows and signs off on what they are handling but for some reason the folks
(mice)that eat dna changed food don't get to know. We the consumers are left
in the dark. The main fears I hear about gene altered stuff is that there
are no labels so people have no choice and must fear all food because you
can not tell the frankenstein food from the real and the fact that this
stuff because it is living may not be so easy to call back or put back in
the can if human error does happen. Why does everyone from the company that
makes it to the seed company that sells it to the farmer that grows it get
to know yet we that eat it are keep in the dark. Why are they leaving the
mice in the dark and why don't they want them to know ? What you don't
know can hurt you . >
