Please excuse me if this posting is inappropriate for this group. I am
seriously considering getting a Masters in Agriculture to work in
International Agriculture and would like to know if anybody has any input
on opportunities in this field. My main interest at this point is working
with developing areas and assisting in a permaculture/organic type of
approach. Any feedback, thoughts or comments would be appreciated or any
academic programs I might want to investigate would also be appreciated.
A little background:
I have a BA from Univ Texas, Austin.
I have traveled in Mexico, Central America, Europe, Africa (mainly East
and Southern, also Morrocco) so I am familiar with living situations.
Currently living in Houston so possibly leaning strongly towards A & M,
although UC Davis looks like it might have some interesting programs.
Thanks again and excuse my intusion.
Andy
