No, potosynthesis unites carbon dioxide, water and sunlight to produce
carbohydrates.  CARBO  HYDRATES.  The hydrate part is the water.  During
metabolism, the water is released as is the carbon dioxide.  Some desert
animals subsist entirely on metabolic water and never drink.
