Hi Madeleine! Your investigation is straightforward - create a lawn of
bacteria eg. E.coli (don't use moulds!) by swirling a pipette full of the
culture on top of an agar plate, then add discs soaked in toothpaste.
Incubate, then look for zones of inhibition (clear areas with no
growth). Measure them and do some stats!
