I was wondering if anyone has experience in using Horsetail (Equisetim)
boiled and steeped in water and sprayed on plants to control various
fungus (especially mildew) ?? Is this an effective control?

How about the Safer fungicides (12% sulfur) or Garlic (3-10 cloves
crushed in a quart of water, boiled and steeped,) or the 'new'
baking soda type recipies? What about the 'Silkaben' which is
advertised in Gardener's Supply catalog that is suppose to be sprayed
or dusted on and forms a physical barrier to fungus...?

I am looking for something to prepare for sweet pea and rose mildew
this season.

What have you found to be effective on what plants? (Be as specific
as possible, especially if a 'recipe' is involved.)

Thanks for all your input, I will post a summary if there is interest.
