: Does anyone have information on the Bioshpere project and facility
: near Tucson? Is it still in operation? Can students visit the site? Is there
: any information on construction specifications? Are there any Web or FTP sites
: for it? I would appreciate hearing anything about this subject.

: Thanks much.

I attend the University of Arizona in Tucson, so I've had a few facts
about Biosphere II pass my way.
The last time I checked, which was about 2 months ago, the
Biosphere II management were actively advertising for the project, so it
is still in operation.
To my knowledge, anyone can visit the site. Tours are available
throughout the year and the operators certainly cater to tourism. I'm
sure they'd love to have students visit.
As for further information, I'm not too sure. I don't know if
they have any Internet access; the best I could suggest would be to call
the Tucson phone directory assistance and seek more information directly
>from Biosphere II.
