Backwoods Home Magazine can be reached via the 'net, according to a recent
issue. The address is: 74404,1713@compuserve.com

Another magazine to look at is Back Home, published by a bunch of ex-Mother
staffers. It's a quarterly, but you can usually find it at one of the major
bookstore chains for most of the three month shelf time.

Backwoods Home Magazine
1257 Siskiyou Blvd.
Ashland, OR 97520
(916) 459-3300
$17.95 per yr (6 issues), 2 yrs $29.95

The July-August issue was 98 pages, nicely laid out with several articles
on independent energy, plus raising fish in the farm pond, and a number of
others. Lots of interesting ads, and some political commentary (nothing
too outrageous). A good buy - recommended!
