_Shade and Color with Water-Conserving Plants_, James Walters and Balbir
Backhaus, published by Timber Press. $39.95.

I was really tempted to buy this book even though I live in the beautiful
Pacific Northwest. One of the writers lives in the Phoenix area, and the
"233 color photos" look like they were taken there.
